Distinguished Chief guest, Members of the Managing Committee, Members of the school   governing  council, Board of management,  Dignitaries , Special guests, Parents & Dear Children, I extend a warm and cordial welcome to all of you.

To quote Paula Fox “The Child arrives like a mystery with puzzle pieces inside, Some of the pieces are broken or missing & others just seem to hide.

But the heart of a teacher can sort them out & help the child to see the potential for the greatness he has ,within,  a picture of what he can be.

Their goal isn’t just to teach knowledge by filling the box with more parts. It is putting the pieces together to create a work of art.

The process is painfully slow at times, Some need more help than others each child is a work in progress with assorted shapes & colours.

The Child discovers the joy that comes from learning something new and his vision grows as he begins to see all the things he can do”. Unquote

Our new century needs will be shaped by extraordinary individuals. Meeting the challenges and opportunities of an interdependent world will require versatile intellectual competence and uncompromising commitment.

We believe in the intrinsic joy of learning and hope, sustained and nurtured in a diverse school community. I am pleased to share with you, the progress  and over view of range of activities at school.

The morning assembly aims to create, nurture and sustain a sense of community. Morning Assemblies  affirm the school’s identity and aspirations.

An Assembly aims at bringing all of us on a common platform to nurture a positive school ethos.

We as educators have the serious task of producing an educated generation which can contribute to the future and the overall development of our country.

To Quote Brain Tracy, “ The potential of the average person is like a huge ocean unsailed, a new continent unexplored, A world of possibilities waiting to be released & channeled towards some great good. Thinking of something new and  Entering the world of possibilities students reported to school in the first week of June ,we strive to create an environment ideally suited to promote a sense of wonder, curiosity and exploration.

Just as a child experiences joy at the growth of his /her physical powers. We believe our students can experience the same joy in the growth of their intellectual power.

To quote Kapil Sibal, “Education is and will continue to be the basis for social & economic transformation in the 21st century. It empowers individuals to realize their own dreams and creative genius. It also fosters a learning society that provides spin off benefits to all those around.

21st Century is the age of knowledge facilitated by information flows where the supremacy of ideas prevails. Facebook and You tube are products of knowledge age. The fundamental catalyst for prosperity in the knowledge age is education. Within the classroom in the traditional sense as well as beyond.
